Checking things off...

Last Thursday i made a "house to do list". Things i need to get done in the house this month. I want to get them all done before i start on the Nursery. So Friday i spent my day making a shelf and a painting. I went to Home Depot got a piece of wood for five bucks. i got my wood 2ft by 4ft. Then i headed to michaels got some paint, my momma googled how to draw cheveron stripes (i was surprised at how easy that is) and i painted myself a little something for the cost of... what... 8 bucks. awesome. I am kind of obsessed with them, i am doing a striped one for hudsons room. I got my shelf backets at anthropologie, then used extra wood from my entry table for the ledge. I am quite pleased with the outcome. So heres to getting things checked off my list! This weeks goal is to get hudsons room done! My wonderful and talented mom is making his bedding from some sheets i loved at west elm. nothing crazy just into a crib sized sheet. Pictures to come.

oh and yes, my valentines decorations are already up. What can i say im a sucker for holidays! LOVE THEM.
