Christmas 2011

We really had a fabulous Christmas. I love the Christmas season, I always hate to see it go. I got a new camera for christmas so that morning i hurried and charged it so i would have pictures later on in the day. Christmas is always a bit crazy for us because we have both families that live here. We do "rotate" years but its still basically split. Ok maybe more time at my families house but I always tell jord "im the girl" haha. He is so great and doesnt even mind. This year we slept at our house and had christmas morning with just the 3 of us. Around 8:30 we headed to the seagers, had breakfast with them and went to church. After church we did Christmas at their house, hung out for a bit, talked to Cody then headed to my parents around 3. We had Christmas at my parents with my siblings (minus my sis and her fam, dilike!) and my mom cooked up the most delicious dinner. Of course we were all in our matching PJ's. Hung out at my parents till late then headed home and called it a night. This Christmas Season was a great one, Jordan and i spoke in our ward on "keeping a christ centered christmas" and i was so grateful i got to give that talk because it kinda made me refocus. I am so glad i have christ in my life and that i can keep the "christmas spirit" in my heart all year long. I am also grateful for our wonderful families who make christmas so special. Im still a little kid and love my parents house all decorated, and the "special" wrapping paper santa picks out for all of us (so thanks mom and dad for still making it so special even though i am married). This year Hudson was so so mellow. just kinda stared in awe. Santa didnt get him much because he doesnt really get it yet, and well grandmas and grandpas spoil him. Hes a lucky boy. Grandma and grandpa seager brought him a tramp. Grandma Sparkle and Grandpa brought him a truck/car which may i add just sat in for an hour after he got it. It was really funny. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and had time to reflect on the true meaning. Thank you all for your darling Chistmas cards! i absolutely love getting christmas cards, we didnt get around to those this year, maybe next year, but we sure did enjoy yours! so thanks! I guess we could have sent this picture out ;). Hudson really did LOVE santa all season long "santa santa, ho ho ho", he loved him in movies, and in books, and on our advent cal, and in line to take his picture... put him on santas lap... and well not so much! I secretly was hoping for a picture like this.
