This is one of our favorite meals... its really delicious. Is anyone else weird about making soups in the summer time? I dont know why i am because i mean, we eat all food hot right? Since the warm weather will be here before we know it (who am i joking the weather has been beautiful) i decided to make this for dinner. If you make this one day, mark my work it will become a fam fav. Thanks to my sister for the recipe! Hudson enjoyed every bite. I always serve it with cornbread and honey butter. enjoy.
chicken tortilla soup:
4 chicken breasts
1 can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can corn (sometimes i do 2 cause we love corn)
1 tbs worcestershire sauce
4 chicken boulon cubes
30 oz water (2 cans)
throw all in crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours. shred chicken.
serve with cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips
