Last night Hudson made a breakthrough... well to us{in his own mind he knows he is teasing us} I know hes been teasing us. Hudson talks extremely well, ive said it before and ill say it again. One word he never says for us is ball. I cant even describe in writing how he says it, but we all know that its ball. Like he doesnt even open his mouth... its just "gmmm". basically a weird noise. Last night i was giving Hudson a bath and we were playing with his bath toys and i said "Hudson just say ball for mommy i know you can" he replied "ball" i cheered and he laughed. So then i figured, eh its just one of those one time things and no one will believe me. So then i asked him "hudson whats this"... "BALL!". I then cheered again and he laughed...agian. So Jordan gets home and i tell Hudson "tell daddy what you are holding".... "gmmm" mouth shut and all. DANG IT. We ate dinner, after dinner i said "Hudson if you say ball for dad i will give you a sucker!".... out came the words "ball"... so basically the joke is on us. We had a big breakthrough day... he was then playing with this rattle thing, not knowing i was paying attention to him he was pointing at the colors saying "purple, blue, orange, red". I was so proud. He still says "gmmm" when using ball in a sentence, and im sure if you ask him "what color is this" he will reply yellow.... but we have made a big breakthough! especially due to the fact he let me video him this morning saying "BALL". oh yes, he is up to 13 on his counting.... i have big hopes that my kids will turn out smarter then me ;).
